You will be walking part of the old Fosse Way
CAN BE VERY MUDDY, SOME INCLINES
From our front door, follow the road all the way up the hill straight across the
roundabout then after Mendip Gardens turn left through St Gregorys Catholic College
-for an easy option, drive and park the car at the Park & Ride -
Once through, cross road and enter Combe Hay lane
Follow the lane until you reach the bend,
take the metal turnstile on your right,
follow the path
Keep going, stunning views on your left
Keep going straight,down the side of the cow barns,
cross the road
Follow through the avenue of trees (muddy) and continue down to road,
bus stop opposite. Bus into Bath, ask for St Lukes Church,
get off just after Devonshire House on opposite side
To extend your walk, cross to the bus stop,
follow pavement left until you reach entry steps on your right.
Follow them through field and stream, the churchyard is worth an explore.
You can then go onto road and back to the bus stop.
You can choose to walk back which will eventually bring you through
Inglesbatch onto Kilkenny Lane, it does involve a lot of road walking
